If my resident groundhog poked his head through the snow last Wednesday to look for his shadow I didn’t see him.

On Feb. 12, 2010, 59 of the 50 states had snow. I, for one, am hoping that our snow will be all gone long before then.

Those helping Ward Carrier celebrate his birthday on Sunday were his wife Paula, Mr. and Mrs. Tom Brooks, Mr. and Mrs. Brian Carrier, Mr. and Mrs. Lofty Carrier, grandchildren Alyssa, Zack and Gabe and myself.
