— Roy Webb has spent some time in the hospital this week. We wish him a speedy recovery.

All of the Hiwasse and Bella Vista mail carriers made it to the post offices on Wednesday, the 9th, but the trucks didn’t make it so there was no mail to deliver.

There was 14 inches of snow on the ground when my mail carrier delivered my garden seed order.

Sympathy to the Paul Tate family. He had ties with the Hiwasse area. Paul and I attended school together in the fifth andsixth grades at Sulphur Springs.

Ward, Paula and I enjoyed Sunday lunch with Dale-Lynn Carrier on the 13th.

There are so many in our area who are having surgery or having tests run. Let’s keep them all in our prayers.

Robert Hamilton is home from the hospital and going to therapy. His daughter Marlo has been home over the weekend visiting family.

Feb. 16, 1923, in Egypt the tomb of King Tutankhamen was opened.

I apologize for having no news last week but since Icouldn’t get my pickup out of my garage and up the driveway I didn’t make it.

Sympathy is extended to the McKinley family.

Travis grew up in Hiwasse on what is now known as Carrier Lane.

Friends and relatives helped Amber Cox celebrate her 18th birthday over the weekend.

We still have a lot of sick ones in our community. Let’s keep them in our prayers.

I have enjoyed the springlike weather this week but we have lived in Arkansas long enough to know that it is too early to last.

Sympathy to the Earl Farley family. Earl passed away Sunday morning.

The Northwest Arkansas Community Church celebrated their 1-year anniversary with a barbecue on Sunday. A large crowd was reported.
