— We had another spell of winter weather. Hope they miss the forecast as they’re saying more is on the way.

Sammie Sappington of Fayetteville visited her grandparents, Jack and Sylvia Tucker, one day this week.

Maysville E. H. Club members, remember this Thursday, Jan. 27, is club day. It will be in the home of Nikki Crawley. If for some reason it has to be canceled because of weather we will notify you by phone. See you all there on Thursday.

Matt and Karla Ballmann and Jacob visited me a while Sunday morning before church. They had been out checking their cattle.

Shelley Bishop visited her grandparents, Jack and Sylvia Tucker, one day this week until time to go to work at the Maysville Handy Stop.

Orpha Wardlaw spent a couple of days in Tulsa, Okla., last week in the home of her daughter and family, Steve and Eva Rea (Wardlaw) Fincher, Selena and Zack.

I had a phone call from Jo Ellen Tucker one day this week. She was in Florida for a short time. She said they were really having winter in Indiana where she lives. She is doing fine. It was good to hear from her.

Family members gathered in the home of Marvin and Bert Ballmann to celebrate Marvin’s and his grandson Cord’s birthdays. Those attending were Eddy and Leslie Ballmann, Jackie and Cord, Kevin and Diana Graham, Katy and Wendy Stidham, Matt and Karla Ballmann and Jacob. Happy Birthday, Marvin and Cord. Hope you both have many more.
