GRAVETTE — Gravette Community Gardens, Gravette Senior Citizen Center, NWA Food Bank and the Samaritan Center of Benton County were among 14 local/area food banks and service organizations which received checks representingportions of 400,000 Northwest Arkansas meals raised by Arvest Bank.

The bank exceeded its recent 1 Million Meals goal campaign to provide meals to hungry families in the 90 communities it serves. The campaign total of 1.2 million meals was madepossible through generous donations by Arvest Banks, its employees, customers and local residents through in-branch fundraisers and food drives. All money and food items raised go to local nonprofit food organizations in the community in which it was raised.
