We are sure in need of rain. Maybe we will get some soon. These hot temperatures are sure drying everything up. Probably won’t be much yard mowing.

Jewel Crawley and Orpha Wardlaw attended a lesson session at the County Extension Office in June. They will bring those lessons to us at club.

Gary Dirck of Gravette visited Jack and Sylvia Tucker last week sometime. They always enjoy his visit.

Juanda Prelle was taken to the hospital recently and they had to give her blood. She is home and doing better.

Carol Loux and Violet Lovell are both recovering from falls with injury to their knees and legs. Hope they both will be better soon.

Orpha Wardlaw’s visitors for the July 4th weekend were her daughters Christi Wardlaw of Little Rock and Steve and Ellen(Wardlaw) Harris of Ponca City, Okla. They enjoyed the time together.

My niece and family, Todd and Viola Chapman and girls Ashley and Anna, came over last Wednesday and spent the night with me. On Thursday we attended funeral services for my brother and their uncle Vernon. They live in Broken Arrow, Okla.

Sylvia Tucker came up and visited me one evening last week. We had a good visit and it helped me pass the evening by.

Patti King and Petru of Lowell visited Ronnie and Debbie Sims last weekend. On the way home they went by to visit Jack and Sylvia Tucker for awhile. They all had a good visit.

Cindy and Bill Mitchell of Colcord, Okla. visited Jack and Sylvia Tucker one day last week.

Guess this hot weather has stopped some of the visiting. If you have news items mail them to me at 204 Charlotte St. S.E., Gravette, Ark., or call me, 787-5712.
