Black named new communications coordinator at OCH

— Ozarks Community Hospital of Gravette announced that Morgan Black was named the new Communications Coordinator for the hospital.

According to the OCH news release, Black will be responsible for coordinating all community relations at the Gravette facilities. This will include participating in community organizations, promoting hospital programs and activities and building and maintaining internal and external relationships. She will also coordinate hospital events, organize fundraising efforts and assist administrative staff as needed.

Black completed an internship with Oxford HealthCare and was active in the Public Relations Student Society of America in addition to volunteering for various organizations.

Black, who has spentmost of her life in Joplin, Mo., recently graduated from Missouri Southern State University with a bachelor’s degree in public relations. She enjoys traveling, being active and spending time with her two-yearold daughter Kyson.

“I have always wanted to be in this area of Arkansas. I am familiar with Gravette and I love the small-town atmosphere. Ozarks Community Hospital is a great environment with great people, and I am excited to be joining the OCH team, along with becoming a part of this community,” Black said.
