— Jimmy Fielding suffered a serious eye injury in a lawnmower accident on Tuesday evening.

Larry and Regina Keith have spent a few days camping on the lake this week.

The Class of 1971, of which my son Wade was a member, is planning a 40th class reunion for Gravette Day, Aug. 13.

Mr. and Mrs. Tom Brooks hosted a birthday lunch Sunday for Amy’s mother, Paula Carrier.Others helping her celebrate were her husband Ward, Mr. and Mrs. Brian Carrier, Mr. and Mrs. Lofty Carrier and me.

Janie Willmon is home following a few days in the hospital last week.

Jake Carver has been showing hogs at the Washington County Fairgrounds over the weekend.

Mr. and Mrs. Robert Paul Hamilton and family spent four days this week with Marlo in St. Louis.

Kolton Hamilton left on Friday with a churchgroup for a mission in the Dominican Republic. Word was received back that they arrived safely.

On Friday evening Novella Carlton and Mr. and Mrs. Richard Carver and Jake met Mr. and Mrs. Tracy Gregg and Autumn and attended a Naturals game.

Our heat wave continues and people are not venturing out for activities.
