— We have sure gone into summer. This is quite a change. I guess it is good for the farmers getting hay baled.

Dan Marshall is recovering well from a broken arm he suffered a month or so ago. Hope he is doing much better.

Family and friends of Archie Spencer had a reunion at the community building on Saturday, May 28. The Spencers are from Augusta, Mo.

The Bohall relatives had a reunion at the community building on Sunday, May 29. They always have theirs on Memorial weekend.

Billy and Violet Lovell celebrated their 51st wedding anniversary on May 29. Happy anniversary. Hope you have many more.

Jack and Sylvia Tucker visited Patti King in Lowell on Tuesday, May 31. Her friend Petru was there also. Happy birthday, Patti. Hope you have many more.

Sylvia Tucker visited Johnnie Mae Marshall one afternoon this week. They always enjoy visiting.

I went to Springdale on Tuesday with my sister and husband, Jim and Marie Crawford of Decatur, to visit mine and Marie’s brother, Vernon Vandiver, in Springdale Hospital. He is going to be there a while yet. He will be glad to get home.

Anita Killion Hoskins and her two cousins, Cozell Newman and Marita Yexton, visited their cousin, Jewel Lukens, Friday. They were here todecorate some graves at Maysville Cemetery. They all live around Fayetteville now.

Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Lovell visited Billy and Violet Lovell and family on Thursday and Friday.They are moving back to this area.

Patti King of Lowell visited her parents, Jack and Sylvia Tucker, on Saturday. She had been over the first of the week. They all went to the cemetery.
