Hatfield, Baran to marry

Lisa Hatfield and Joseph Baran, both of Bentonville, have announced their engagement and upcoming marriage.

The bride to be is the daughter of Sharon and Terry Whorton of Bentonville, and Joseph and Angel Hatfield of Allen, Texas. She is the granddaughter of Verlene and the late William Couch of Siloam Springs; Wilma and the late Basil Whorton of Lincoln; and the late Leila Thomas of St. Louis, Mo. She is a pharmacist for Walmart, Inc., in Rogers and Lowell, with a doctor of pharmacy degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, Little Rock, and a bachelor’s degree from John Brown University inSiloam Springs.

The prospective groom’s parents are Alison and Michael Baran of Bentonville.

The groom also works forWalmart, Inc., in Bentonville, as a project manager in operations and innovations. He has a master’s degree in operations management from the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville, and a bachelor’s degree fromJohn Brown University.

Both are 2004 graduates of Bentonville High School.

The couple plans to wed at 4 p.m., July 17, 2011, at Fellowship Bible Church in Rogers.
