MAYSVILLE NEWS

We had a good rain Saturday night and we were needing it. I’m sure the farmers were glad to see it.

Jewel Lukens enjoyed a phone call from Lowell Crom this past week. They attended high school in Sulphur Springs where they both graduated in 1935.

Maysville Bible Church enjoyed a missionary, Pam McCurdy, Sunday morning. She was our guest for the morning services. She showed films, told about her missions and gave an update on her family. We really enjoyed having her visit us.

Sylvia Tucker visited Johnnie Mae Marshall one afternoon this week. They always enjoy their time together.

We had a fellowship dinner at the Maysville Bible Church after morning services Sunday. We really enjoyed the food and fellowship.

It was good to have Jan Janes visit us for our lunch at church Sunday morning. It’s always good to see her and get to visit with her.

Orpha Wardlaw has made it home again after making a trip back to Tulsa. She has another doctor appointment. Hope she is feeling much better.

The Ronnie and Shirley Philpot family and friends had their family reunion at the Maysville community center on Saturday. Ronnie and Shirley are from Gentry.

My nephew, Clarence Vandiver of Bentonville, came by to visit me on Saturday morning. I was visiting next door at my granddaughter’s house and he came over so we had agood visit.

Sylvia Tucker came by to see me Saturday morning. She came over to my granddaughter’s house and we had a good visit. Tracy Warren is my granddaughter.
