Non-profits may sell to raise funds at Farmers' Market

— Nonprofit groups and school clubs are invited to hold fund raisers at the Farmers’ Market in Gravette Old Town Park each Saturday, according to Allyson Ransom, who directs the market operation.

“The only thing that is not allowed are baked goods since these are already sold at the market,” Ransom said. “I see many groups having barbecue or hot dog roasts at Centennial Park and this (in the market) would give them a venue where people are already stopping.”

This is a free service with no charge for signup. “They need to contact me in advance and fill out an application to schedule a Saturday,” Ransom said.

Ransom may be contacted at 787-5368 for more information or to reserve a spot.
