Vera Darline Poe Galyean of Hiwasse died June 7, 2011, at Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale.
She was born Nov. 17, 1919, to Alex and Lula Poe in Kansas but moved to Northwest Arkansas in her early childhood and remained there the rest of her life. She married Clifton (Jim) Galyean in 1946. She was an active member of the Hiwasse Christian Church, serving in many capacities there.
She was preceded in death by her husband in February of 1995.
Survivors include three children, Glenda Eldred and her husband Bill of Gravette, Paul Galyean and his wife Linda of Gentry, and Judy Sumrall and husband Mike of Bella Vista; seven grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
A celebration of her life was held June 11 at the Bella Vista Funeral Home, with Lee McClanathan officiating.
Arrangements were by Bella Vista Funeral Home Chapel, Bella Vista.
Diana Lynn Wagner, 52, of Watts, Okla., died Thursday June 9, 2011, at the Stilwell Nursing Home in Stilwell, Okla.
She was born Dec. 25, 1957, in Phoenix, Ariz., to Tivis and Stella Campbell. She married George Edward Wagner on Aug. 22, 1992, in Siloam Springs. She was of the Pentecostal faith and affiliated with the First Assembly of God in Siloam Springs. She enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing the guitar, animals and working on computers.
She was preceded in death by her mother; and a daughter, Melissa Dawn Wagner.
Survivors include her husband, George E. Wagner of Watts; children, Johnny Lee Owens and David Ferriel Owens, both of Siloam Springs, Edward Scott Wagner and Jeffery Alan Wagner, both of Madison, Ind.; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild; father, Tivis Campbell Sr. of Watts; two brothers, Ronnie Campbell and Tivis Campbell Jr., both of Watts; three sisters, Shirley Miller of Siloam Springs, Della Kinder of Claremore Okla., and Rachel Woods of Colcord, Okla.
Cremation arrangements were under the direction of Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home of Siloam Springs.
Helen Margret Wayt, 92, of Anderson, Mo., and formerly of Decatur, died June 9, 2011, at the Golden Living Center in Anderson.
She was born Nov. 27, 1918, in Caney, Kan., to Lincoln Richard Clemens and Florence Alma Clemens. She married Alva Hugh Wayt on May 14, 1936, in Decatur. She enjoyed gardening, canning foods, and was a caretaker to many. She was of the Protestant Faith and affiliated with the First Christian Church of Anderson.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a son, Alvie Floyd Wayt; and a grandson, Richard Floyd Wayt.
Survivors include two daughters, Alma Roxanne Ballenger of Tulsa, Okla., Mary Helen Inman of Tulsa; a son, Richard Lee Wayt and wife Kathy of Rocky Comfort, Mo.; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
A graveside service was held at the Decatur Cemetery in Decatur on June 13, with David Munoz officiating. Arrangements were by Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home of Siloam Springs.
