Smith recognized

GENTRY — Sierra Smith, student at Gentry High School, was recognized by the United States Achievement Academy as a student of excellence because of her standing on the school's honor roll.

She was nominated for the honor by Kathy Pipkin, counselor at the school. Sierra is the daughter of Andrew and Dawn Smith of Gentry. Her grandparents are Kevin and Trena Davis of Gentry, and Edwin and Alma Rogers of Springfield, Ill.
