Mr. and Mrs. Mike Yoder of Wellman, Iowa, have announced the engagement of their son, PFC Mitchell Keith James Turnbull of Wellman, to Charlet Ruth Wintercorn of Berryville.

Mitchell recently graduated from Basic/OSUT training from Fort Knox,Ky., after enlisting in the United States Army National Guard as a cavalry scout. He will be deploying to Afghanistan in 2013.

Charlet is the daughter of Robert and Lrae Wintercorn, originally of Chicago, Ill., and currently residing in Berryville.

Charlet recently graduated from Morningside Masters Media in Blue Eye, Mo., and was an associate producer and editor, as well as working the cameras, for the Jim Bakker show.

She plans to continue her work in the media world.
