Rozell Sandlin Mason is a patient at Rogers Hospital following gall bladder surgery. Let’s keep her in our prayers.

Billie Keith received the good news this week of a new great-grandchild.

Sympathy is extended to the Ramirez family. Pedro was well known in the Hiwasse area.

Sympathy goes to Karen Cowger and family for the loss of her mother, Velda Faye O’Brien.

Many of us remember Katherine Russell and family when they lived inHiwasse. We extend sympathy to her daughters and their families for their loss.

Mr. and Mrs. Larry Keith have spent a few days in Iowa this week at a family reunion.

Those having lunch with Mr. and Mrs. Ward Carrier on Sunday included Mr. and Mrs. Brian Carrier, Mike and Gabe Carrier, Mr. and Mrs. Tom Brooks, Mr. and Mrs. Lofty Carrier, Lamarise Carrier and myself.

It was good to see Gene Willmon able to be at church on Sunday. We miss him and Janie when they aren’t there.

Mr. and Mrs. Bill Habermehl made a trip to Newton County this week.

Mr. and Mrs. Robert Paul Hamilton spent the weekend in Tulsa and their children spent Friday and Saturday nights with Grandpa Robert and Grandma Geneva.

Marlo Hamilton has been home over the weekend and also visited former classmates in Broken Arrow, Okla.

June 29, 1994, all-time state records for high temperature were set at Lake Havasu City, Ariz. (128°) and Laughlin, Nev. (125°).
