— We are sure into summer weather now. The forecast is for more hot weather this week, maybe longer.

There was a Gideon speaker at the Maysville Bible Church Sunday morning service from Jay, Okla. The Gideons do a lot of ministry in many places.

Jewel Lukens and her daughter Sue Smith attended funeral services in Neosho, Mo., on Wednesday for Dorothy Brown Boyd. She was a sister of Jewel Lukens and Jimmy Brown of Sulphur Springs. Dorothy was a former resident of Sulphur Springs. Burial was in Butler Creek Cemetery. Sympathy is extended to the family.

Stacie Hunt and son Noah of Fayetteville visited Jack and Sylvia Tucker one day last week.

Justin and Valerie Sappington and twin daughters visited Jack and Sylvia Tucker Sunday. They livein Lowell. They went to Cotton-Eyed Joe’s to eat and had a good visit.

Gary Dirck of Gravette and Jewel Crawley attended a lesson at the county extension office on Tuesday. Later they will bring those lessons to Maysville club.
