The Gravette School Board, at its meeting last week, approved the purchase of a strip of land used as a road between the middle and upper elementary schools. The land, owned by John Rambadt, had apparently been overlooked during land transactions several years ago. The purchase price was $2,500. The board, following an executive session, accepted the resignation of Jennifer Ford, GHS speech/ journalism teacher. She has been on the faculty of Gravette school for 16 years. Her retirement will become effective at the end of the current school year.
