Sympathy is extended to the Carver family for the loss of their loved one. Faye passed away on Sunday.

My granddaughter, Lamarise, took me to Fayetteville on Tuesday for a checkup with my surgeon. He said my face looked good and I wouldn’t have to see him again.

Pam Bertschy has been sick over the weekend.Hope she is feeling better soon.

Robert Hamilton is still improving from his knee surgery.

Junior and Ginger Hill were able to attend church on Sunday following Junior’s knee surgery.

Novella Carlton, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Carver and Jake, Mr. and Mrs. Tracy Gregg and Autumn met at the Golden Corral for supper on Saturday night.

The young folks of the area have started tryoutsfor summer baseball.

March 2, 1917, the United States granted Puerto Ricans citizenship.
