MAYSVILLE NEWS

We were to get some storms Sunday night. That was the report from the weatherman. Someone told me that spring is around the corner. I sure hope that corner is close.

The Maysville 4-H Club had their award banquet on Saturday evening at the Maysville Community Building. I’m sure there were several awards given. The Maysville club is a veryactive club. Sylvia Tucker visited her neighbor, Johnnie Mae Marshall, one afternoon this week. She reports a good visit.

The E. H. Club has to winterize the community building in December until spring. When they turned the water on last week we had two broken pipes from the cold weather. Thanks to Marvin and Eddy Ballman they have been replaced. Guess it could have been worse as cold as it got.

Orpha Wardlaw made a trip to Tulsa on Thursday afternoon. She visited Steve and Eva Rea (Wardlaw) Fincher and children Zack and Selena.

Visitors in the home of Jack and Sylvia Tucker were their grandson and family from Lowell, Justin and Valerie Sappington and twin girls Abby and Lauree. They all went to Cotton-Eyed Joe’s to eat. They had an enjoyable afternoon.
