Decatur Parks and Recreation Committee

The Decatur Parks and Recreation Committee will be meeting at 6 p.m., March 15. in the city council room. Committee members and community members who would like to get involved with the Parks and Recreation Committee are encouraged to attend.

Decatur School Board

The Decatur School Board meets at 6 p.m. on the third Monday each month in the professional development room of the former middle school building.

Decatur City Council

Decatur City Council meetings are held at 6 p.m., the second Monday of the month, in the city council room.

Decatur Public Library

Decatur library hours are 3:30 p.m. to 7 p.m., Mondays,Tuesdays and Thursdays; 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 3:30 to 7 p.m. on Wednesdays.

CENTERTON

Centerton Meeting Times

Centerton City Council meetings are held at 7 p.m., the second Tuesday of each month. Planning meetings are at 6 p.m. on the fourth Tuesday of each month. For additional meeting times, court times and other information, call the city of Centerton at 795-2750.

GENTRY

Gentry City Council

The Gentry City Council holds regular meetings in the city court room at 6:30 p.m., the first Monday of each month. The Gentry Planning and Zoning Commission meets in city hall at 7 p.m. on the third Thursday of each month. The Parks Commission meets at 5:30 p.m. on the fourth Monday of each month.

Special Meetings

A special meeting of the city council to consider a third reading of the key-box ordinance was set for 6:30 p.m., March 15, in the city council chambers. A working meeting to review the proposed sign ordinance will follow. A special meeting of the police committee to review the feral cat situation in the city has been set for 5:30 p.m., March 23, at city hall.

Gentry School Board

The Gentry School Board holds regular meetings at 7 p.m. on the third Monday of each month in the school district board room.

Gentry Public Library

Gentry Public Library is open from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, and from 9 a.m. until noon on Saturday. For more information, call 736-2054.

GRAVETTE

Gravette City Meetings

The regular meetings of the Gravette City Council are held at 6 p.m. on the fourth Thursday of each month at the Gravette Civic Center. Committee of the Whole meetings are held at 6 p.m., the second Thursday of each month, at Gravette City Hall.

Gravette Planning Commission

Gravette Planning Commission announces a public hearing will be held to review a preliminary plat for construction at 800 First Avenue SE. Mike von Ree, commission chairman, said the hearing will be at 6 p.m. Monday, March 14, at Gravette City Hall. The hearing is open to all persons interested.

Gravette Museum

Visitors are always welcome at the Gravette Historical Museum which is open Tuesday from noon to 4 p.m.,Thursday from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The museum is located in the historic Kindley Home, 503 Charlotte S.E. There is no admission fee.

Gravette Public Library

Gravette Public Library announced new hours, effective Jan. 1 - the library is again open on Saturdays. The new hours are from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday. The library is open Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Town of Highfill

Town of Highfill council meetings are held on the second Tuesday of each month in the city hall. Meetings start at 6:30 p.m. and are open to the public.

Springtown Council

The Springtown Council meets at 6 p.m. on the second Tuesday of each month, at the town hall.
