BELLA VISTA — The Bella Vista Art Club spends thousands each year to fund students who are working toward degrees in the fine and applied arts. This year they are offering two new scholarships and encourage area seniors to apply. Each scholarship will consist of two payments of $750 per year, paid directly to the student’s college, for up to four years as long as the students maintain eligibility.

The Village Art Club Scholarships are open to students in the Bentonville, Gravette and Pea Ridge school districts. Students must be graduating seniors of one of those public high schools or a graduating senior from a private or home-based school located within those district boundaries.

Public school students can pick up an application from their school guidance office. Private or homeschool students can request a scholarship application by e-mailing [email protected] or by calling the Meads at 876-9981. Deadline for returning applications, either electronically, or by regular mail, is April 20.
