GENTRY — Ayla Smartt, of Gentry, a senior honors biology major in the J. William Fulbright College of Arts and Sciences will use the SURF grant to fund her research project, titled “Aquatic Ecology - Theeffects of land-use change on the water quality of springfed streams of the Buffalo River.” Her faculty mentor is Michelle Evans-White.
Smartt is the daughter of Bob and Linda Smartt and a graduate of Gentry High School.
