— Outdoor Adventures 4-H Club completed several community service projects and fundraisers during the month of April.

On April 4th members donated and delivered 18 cases of bottled water to the Gentry Fire Department hoping to aid firemen as they protect our community.

The weekend of April 15th kept the entire club busy providing concessions at the Metcalf Gun and Knife Show at the Benton County Fairgrounds. You could also find members serving hot-dogs and drinks at Atwoods.

The club also spent the weekend selling buttons at the Tired Iron of the Ozarks Tractor Show.

To complete the month in honor of Earth Day, members spent the morning of April 30th weeding and planting flower boxes at the Eagle Watch Nature Trail.

Coming up in May, the club will have more than 90 people go camping at Roaring River State Park and will participate in the annual kids’ fishing derby there.
