GRAVETTE — Margaret Martin's class at Glenn Duffy Elementary School in Gravette was winner of the "Great April Penny War'' to raise funds for St. Jude's Hospital.

All the classes participated in the fund raiserwhich was held in honor of Johnny Teis, a student who lost his battle with a brain tumor.

Students collected 1,335 pounds of coins, with Martin's class collecting the most: 166 pounds. The total amount of money raised had not been tabulated.
