GENTRY — First Baptist Church Bible Drill Teams participated in the State BibleDrill in Conway on Saturday, April 30. All four students on the Children’s Bible Drill Team passed, with Abigail Proctor, Daniel Estes and Evan Folker receiving perfect scores.
In the Youth Bible Drill competition, Josie Barrick and Lauren Little also competed among the eight finalists, withJosie Barrick winning second place in the entire state, and earning a scholarship to youth camp at the Baptist Assembly in Siloam Springs.
Hundreds of students take part in the Bible drill which is organized by the Arkansas Southern Baptist Convention. The Gentry congregation congratulates the young participants for representing First Baptist Church and the community of Gentry with character and integrity.
