Alsup named to student alumni board

— Jacy Alsup, an agriculture business and marketing freshman from Gravette, has been named to the Oklahoma State University Student Alumni Board for the 2011-2012 academic year.

The OSU Student Alumni Board (SAB) is a leadership development organization sponsored by the OSU Alumni Association. Student members are chosen for their excellence in scholarship and leadership and for genuine interest in assisting theAlumni Association in its activities.

Alsup is a graduate of Gravette High School, where she participated in basketball, volleyball, 4-H, FFA, National Honor Society, and Fellowship of Christian Athletes.

While at OSU, Alsup has been involved in Chi Omega, College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources Student Council, Student Government Association, President’s Leadership Council. She is expected to graduate in May 2014 and plans to receive a master’s degree in business administrationand become employed with an agriculture business company.

SAB is known as OSU’s premier campus leadership organization and is responsible for passing along OSU traditions to students, serving as ambassadors at alumni and campus events, speaking at high school scholar banquets on behalf of OSU, and planning the annual OSU Legacy and Leadership for legacies and high school students.
