An Indigo Bunting perches on a tree branch along the Eagle Watch Nature Trail last week. Indigo Buntings migrate at night, using the stars for guidance. They eat small insects, seeds and berries.

A summer tanager perches on a tree branch along the Eagle Watch Nature Trail last week. The birds are native to the forests of the southern United States and feed on wasps and bees. The birds winter in Central and South America.
