GRAVETTE — Gravette police officers assisted the Arkansas State Police at a two vehicle accident at the north edge of Gravette on Highway 59 last Friday evening.

The accident occurred when a dump truck pulled onto the highway and was struck by a southbound tractor-trailer rig. Names of the drivers were not available.

No one was injured in the accident but the semi was disabled, which hindered traffic flow.

Gravette officers assisted in directing traffic until the scene could be cleared.
