Gravette's pool opening

— The grand opening of Gravette’s municipal swimming pool will be held Friday, June 3, with free swimming for all students in the Gravette school district all weekend, according to Allyson Ransom, City Communications Director.

“Please bring your report card or proof of residence to get in for free,” Ransom said.

Ransom announced the following information concerning costs and operation of the pool.

◊Pool season: June 3 - August 14 and weekends up through Labor Day

◊Regular open swim hours: Noon - 5 p.m. Mon. - Sat.; Sundays 1-5 p.m.

◊Children under 10 must be accompanied by someone 15 or older

◊Swimsuits, tees for sun protection and board shorts OK, no cut-offsallowed

◊Free Senior Swim for qualifying adults over 50 Mon., Wed., Fri. 9-10 a.m.

◊Regular fees: $1 for age 10 and under and $2 for all others

◊Family season pass, $100; individual season pass, $75

◊Reduced family pass,$75 if children are summer members of the Boys & Girls Club
