FAYETTEVILLE — Alden Smartt, a 2006 graduate of Gentry High School, received two scholarships to attend Dale Bumpers College of Agricultural, Food and Life Sciences at the University of Arkansas.

Smartt, the son of William and Linda Smartt of Gentry, received the Luther and Edna Estelle Scholarship and the Presidential Scholarship. He is a senior majoring in environmental, soil and water sciences.
