Mark Church

Mark Thomas Church, 79, of Siloam Springs, died May 16, 2011, at Siloam Springs Memorial Hospital.

He was born Dec. 3, 1931, in Garden City, Okla., to Joshua Jonathan George and Rosa Jane Miller Church. He retired from Leisure Time Products.

Survivors include a son, Dennis Church and wife Sue of Gentry; two daughters, Marlene Hoover and husband Randy of West Siloam Springs, Okla., and Marcella Grammer of Siloam Springs; six brothers, including Nathan Church, Luke Church and Faith Church, all of Siloam Springs, and Joel Church of Bentonville; six grandchildren; and 19 greatgrandchildren.

Graveside services were May 20 at Bell Cemetery, near Watts, Okla. Arrangements were by Wasson Funeral Home in Siloam Springs.

Helen Gaiche

Helen Marie Gaiche, 90, of Gentry, died May 19, 2011, at Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale.

She was born July 11, 1920, in Malvern, Kan., to William Vaughn and Lennie Burson Vaughn. She lived most of her life in the Gentry area. She farmed and worked at Franklin Electric until her retirement. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Siloam Springs.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Gaiche; and four brothers, William Vaughn, Jr., Allen Vaughn, Dave Vaughn and Gerald Vaughn.

Survivors include four sons, James Lloyd Gaiche and wife Maxine of Van Buren, John Dale Gaiche and wife Betty of Siloam Springs, Frank Gaiche and wife Eileene of Mansfield, and Danny Gaiche and wife Lisa of Olathe, Kan.; one daughter, Blanche Deen and husband Ray of Gentry; 11 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; three brothers, Thomas Vaughn of Fayetteville, John Vaughn of Chouteau, Okla., and Jerry Vaughn of Sandusky, Okla.; five sisters, Juanita Williamson of Oolagah, Okla., Verna Moss of Goodman, Mo., Naomi Yarberry of Catoosa, Okla., Mary Jo Blakemore of Springdale, and Linda Shaw of Collinsville, Okla.

Funeral mass was May 21, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Siloam Springs, with Salvador Munoz officiating. Burial followed at St. Joseph’s Cemetery at Tontitown. Arrangements were by Wasson Funeral Home, Siloam Springs.

William Talbot

William Dwaine Talbot, 81, of Maysville, died May 21, 2011, at Circle of Life Hospice.

He was born June 29, 1929 in Sanderson, Texas, to Fred Henry and Lillian Lester Talbot. He worked in maintenance at Peterson Industries for 40 years. After retiring, he and his wife Loreta sold vegetables to the Maysville community for 10 years. He enjoyed the remainder of his life at home with his wife of 62 years.

Survivors include his wife, Loreta of Maysville; two sons, Carl Duane Talbot of Colorado, Rickey Leon Talbot of Maysville; two daughters, Ineta Jo Crouch and husband Kenneth J. Crouch of Centerton; Vinita Ann Lang of Broken Arrow, Okla.; three granddaughters; and one brother, Jack Talbot of San Antonio, Texas.

Funeral services were May 23 at Wasson Funeral Home, Siloam Springs, with Jim Whisenant officiating. Arrangements were by Wasson Funeral Home, Siloam Springs.
