HOT SPRINGS — April Abiera, a senior at the Arkansas School for Mathematics, Sciences and the Arts at Hot Springs, has been named to the AB honors list for the first quarter of the school year. She is the daughter of Michael and Lisa Abiera of Gravette.

The ASMSA, in downtown Hot Springs, is one of 13 public residential high schools specializing in the education of juniors and seniors with an advanced aptitude for science and math and is open to all Arkansas students who meet academic requirements. Room, board and tuition are free. Several area students have attended.
