Bulky waste disposal offered

— A free service for Benton County residents who wish to dispose of bulky household items, as well as recyclables, is available at the Benton County Solid Waste District located at 5702 Brookside Road near Centerton.

Recyclables may be dropped off at that location or in bins located in the parking lot at the Gravette Police Department.

Paper, cardboard, some plastics and other designated non-hazardous items may be placed in the appropriate bins. There is no charge for this 24-hour-per-day service.

Waste items, including furniture, mattresses, appliances and electronics, may be taken to the solid waste district location listed above. Up to four tires will also be accepted. No household trash, hazardous materials, glass, commercial or construction items or yard waste will be accepted.
