GENTRY — Leaf and yard waste will be picked up within the city of Gentry on Nov. 8 only. Leaves and other yard waste must be bagged and placed curbside for pickup on that day.
Tree limbs - no more than 8 feet long and no more than 8 inches in diameter - may be stacked curbside for pickup on the week of Nov. 14.
“We have a contractorlined up to provide the limb service the week of Nov. 14th,” wrote Gentry Mayor Kevin Johnston in a release. “We are asking that all participants ‘stack’ their limbs away from any utility meter or pedestal, within a reasonable distance to the street so as to not force the contractor to create ruts in the yards ... Once the contractor has made the rounds he will not be required to go back and pick anything up that was not out by the 14th.”
