FFA supporters resume meetings

Members of the Gravette FFA Supporters began meeting again in September after a summer break.

We have been reviewing our contributions to our local FFA chapter. These included a $1,000 scholarship to Nick Austin who is attending college pursuing a degree in pharmacy, a field trip for FFA members to the 4-State Farm Show and sponsoring of leadership camp in Ferndale.

These awards and grants were made possible by the annual membership fees paid byinterested individuals and businesses. We are also involved in fundraisers, including a new one that involves the participation of FFA students working for individuals for a donation to the chapter.

We would like to remind the community that our local chapter is continuing to collect used vehicle batteries for recycle. The drop off station is located at the high school agriculture department.

We are extremely thankful for the support givento our organization by the local community and pleased with the scholarship and leadership training your support has made possible.
