MAYSVILLE NEWS

The weather is nice. It’s beginning to seem like fall. These rains we have had recently have sure made the pastures green. I’m sure farmers are proud of that.

This Saturday evening, Oct. 22, is the Maysville E.H. Club fall fundraiser to help on expenses at the building. We will have a bean supper with beans, coleslaw, corn bread and drinks. Cost is a donation in the jar. Serving time begins at 5:30. We will have homemade pies and a cake walk. Mark you calendar and come out for a fun evening. We appreciate each andevery one who supports us on the expenses of the building.

Sylvia Tucker visited Johnnie Mae Marshall one day last week. They always enjoy the visiting. It helps pass the time.

Orpha Wardlaw spent some days in Tulsa, Okla., last week with her daughter and family, Steve and Eva Rea (Wardlaw) Fincher and children Selena and Zack.

Patti King of Lowell visited her parents, Jack and Sylvia Tucker, one day last week.
