GENTRY — The Bloomfield Corn/Hay Maze will be open weekends beginning Sept. 16 and continuing through Nov. 6. It is also available on weekdays by appointment.
Due to the recent extended hot, dry weather, the corn crop failed and hay was added to complete the maze for this year. In addition to the maze, a cow train, hay rides, corn cannon and playground will be open to visitors.
The maze is located 4 miles west of Gentry, on the north side of Arkansas Highway 12.
The maze is sponsored by Fontanelle Seeds, Decatur Livestock Auction, Farm Credit, Country Side John Deere, Cripps Law Firm, Steleo Cave, Inuendos Sign Co., Mike Coones, Silcox Wholesale, Cornerstone Bank, Powell Feed, and Threet Waste Management.
