MAYSVILLE NEWS

We are having nice weather now. It gets a little warmer in the afternoons but nothing like we had been having. I’m looking forward to fall weather.

Last Sunday Steve and Susan Tucker of Bella Vista came home with me after church. We ate lunch andhad a good visit. Tracy Warren and Skylar also visited in the afternoon.

Patti King of Lowell visited her parents, Jack and Sylvia Tucker, one day this week. Then she went over and visited Ron and Debbie Sims for a while.

Sylvia Tucker visited Johnnie Mae and Dan Marshall one afternoonthis week. I think she and Johnnie did some crocheting.

Pastor Jim Whisenant of Gentry, who is filling in at Maysville Bible Church for a few months, was surprised Sunday evening for his birthday. We enjoyed cake and ice cream after Bible study. It was an evening of good fellowship.

There is an important meeting at Maysville Community Center on September 13 at 5:30 p.m. It’s about concerns on keeping the Maysville Post Office open. It’s 10 - 20 miles to the closest post office if Maysville is not kept open. Everyone with concerns needs to attend this meeting.
