Leeman spends time in Germany

— Erica Leeman, a junior in the Honors Program in the U of A Fulbright College of Arts and Sciences spent six weeks in Germany this summer in an advanced language and culture program through the University of Kansas in Lawrence.

Erica, a 2009 graduate of Gravette High School has maintained a 4.0 GPAat U of A and was named to the Chancellor’s and Dean’s List for the spring semester.

Leeman said, “I lived with a host family in Holzkirchen, a suburb of Munich, and attended classes in Volkshochschule, the local school.”

With a major in English and minor in German, Leeman enjoyed traveling and studying the culture of the German people.

She is the daughter ofFrank and Donella Leeman of Gravette.
