— More than 50 people were assisted during the job fair last week at the Gravette Public Library.

The fair was originated by library manager Kim Schneider. She was assisted by numerous local business and professional persons in helping young people and older persons learn how to write a resume and how to prepare for a job interview.

Representatives from the military were present, as well as other local and area persons who provided information for those who have questions about the job market and how to apply for and secure a job.

Schneider said she was pleased with the turnout from those in the area and appreciated all the supportand help in conducting the two-day free event.

“We’re already starting to lay plans for another job fair next year,” she said.
