We got another good rain and the temperature has been much better. Guess fall is getting close.

Maysville E.H. Club will sponsor a community yard sale on Saturday, Oct. 8, at 8 a.m. at the community building (gym). Anyone wishing to have a booth and sell items may do so for a fee of $10. Club will have sandwiches, desserts and drinks. To reserve a booth call Gwen Singleton, 291-4520.

Orpha Wardlaw spent last week in the home of her daughter, Ellen ( Wardlaw) Harris, and Steve. She enjoyed the weekend with them. She had her granddaughter, Selena Fincher of Tulsa, at church with her Sunday morning. Shelly Bishop visited Jack and Sylvia Tucker. They always enjoy her visits. Patti King of Lowell visited her parents, Jack and Sylvia Tucker. It was good to have Pam (Russow) Nixon visit Sunday school and church at Maysville Bible Church Sunday morning. Sylvia Tucker visited Johnnie Mae Marshall and they had a good visit. Sylvia took her some apples from Vanzant Orchard.
