B & G club has new director

— An announcement was made that Kyle Scogin is the new unit director of the Boys & Girls Club - Gravette unit, according to Chris Shimer, Chief Professional Officer of the Western Benton County Boys & Girls Club.

Scogin is a graduate of the University of Arkansas and was program director at the Donald W. Reynolds B & G Club in Fayetteville from 2002 until 2007, when he joined the staff at the Boys & Girls Club of Western Benton County as unit director and athletic director.

He assumes the Gravette position immediately.

“I am very excited about the opportunity to work with the wonderful community of Gravette through the Boys & Girls Club of Western Benton County - Gravette unit. It is always great to branch out and meet new children from different areas,” said Scogin.

“Our organization is dedicated to providing a safe and supportive atmosphere for the youth in Western Benton County, and Kyle will be a perfect match for the Gravette community and continue to make our organization stronger,” Shimer said.

Scogin and his wife Miah have one son, Landon.

The Boys & Girls Club of Western Benton County was established over 15 years ago, has facilities in both Siloam Springs and Gravette and currently serves over 1,300 children.
