MAYSVILLE NEWS

— We had a beautiful Easter Sunday. We did get a good rain on Saturday which was needed.

Memorial services are this Wednesday at 3:30 at the United Methodist Church in Bentonville for Virginia (Tucker) Rowland. She grew up in Maysville and was the daughter of the late Robert and Leta Tucker. Sympathy is extended to the family. The family has asked for anyone who wants to give a memorial, instead of flowers, to give to the Maysville E.H. Club in their general fund to help on expenses. Send to: Maysville E.H. Club, 204 Charlotte St. S.E., Gravette, AR 72736.

Sylvia Tucker visited Johnnie Mae Marshall one afternoon this week. She said they had a good visit as always.

Sunrise services were held at the Maysville Bible Church Sunday morning. The other two churches took part in it. There were several in attendance.

The fundraiser for the Maysville E.H. Club is this Saturday, April 14, at the Maysville community building. A bean supper will start at 5:30. Cost is a donation in the jar. There will be a cake walk and homemade pies to sell. Proceeds go toward the upkeep of the building. We need cakes for the cake walk and pies for the pie sale. See you all there.
