— Aubree Finley

Aubree Elizabeth Finley, of Siloam Springs, died April 3, 2012, at Willow Creek Women’s Hospital.

She was born April 3, 2012, in Johnson, to Jeffrey Finley and Ashlee Devenport.

She was preceded in death by one sister, Alexis Finley.

Survivors include her parents; her maternal grandparents, Amy and Jeff Doyle of Gentry; and her paternal grandparents, Sonia and Stephen Ingle of McAlester, Okla.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m., Thursday, April 12, at Oak Hill Cemetery in Siloam Springs, with Larry Petton officiating. Burial will follow. Arrangements are by Wasson Funeral Home of Siloam Springs.

Georgia Meyers

Georgia B. Meyers, 95, of Gentry, died April 2, 2012, at Siloam Springs Memorial Hospital.

She was born Oct. 14, 1916, to Frank Holcomb Cox and Marie Underdown Cox in Harrison. She worked for Tufco International and was a member of the Seventhday Adventist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Charles Dean Meyers; one daughter; two brothers; and one sister.

Survivors include three brothers, Donald Cox and Melvin Cox, both of Gentry, and Paul Cox of Siloam Springs; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and two greatgreat-grandchildren.

Funeral service was April 7 at Wasson Funeral Home Memorial Chapel. Entombment was in the Benton County Memorial Park of Rogers. Arrangements were by Wasson Funeral Home.

Leander Prelle

Leander J. Prelle, 92, of Sulphur Springs, died April 5, 2012. Graveside services were on April 10 at the Butler Creek Cemetery in Sulphur Springs. Arrangements were by Ozark Funeral Home in Noel, Mo.

Virginia Rowland

Virginia T. Rowland, of Bentonville, died April 4, 2012, at Northwest Medical Center in Springdale.

She was born Feb. 15, 1937, in Maysville, to Robert and Leta (Dill) Tucker. She was active at the First United Methodist Church in Bentonville, was a professor at Southern University of Mississippi, and enjoyed gardening.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Susan and John Oldfather of Bella Vista; three sisters, Carol Ann Walker and Judy Bishop, both of Maysville, and Ernestine Breeding of Mounds, Okla.

A memorial service will be held at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 11, at the First United Methodist Church in Bentonville. Funeral arrangements are by Callison-Lough Funeral Home, Bentonville.

Gary Scantlin

Gary Scantlin, 25, of Bella Vista, died April 7, 2012, at Northwest Medical Center in Bentonville.

He was born Oct. 24, 1986, in Gravette, to James Edward Scantlin and Debbie Kay (Stacy) Scantlin. He was raised and educated in Gravette and graduated from Gravette High School. He was a member of the Hiwasse Christian Church. He loved bowling and belonged to the Tuesday Men’s League. He was also a weightlifter, loved deer hunting and was an avid sports fan.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, James H. Scantlin.

He is survived by his parents, Ed and Debbie Scantlin of Bella Vista; his fiancé, Whitney Allison; his son, Grayson Edward Scantlin of Bella Vista; paternal grandmother, Ella Scantlin of Hiwasse; maternal grandparents, Sue and Larry Drake of Rogers; and four brothers, Alex Hammontree of Hiwasse, Dan Hammontree of Jane, Mo., Max Hammontree of Farmington, and James Scantlin of Bentonville.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 11, at the Bella Vista Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Hiwasse. Arrangements are by the Bella Vista Funeral Home & Crematory, in Bella Vista.
