— Don’t forget the rabies clinic will be at the Hiwasse Fire Station on Monday, April 23, from 4 until 5:30 p.m.

I visited with Lamarise Henry and Maxine Holloway on Thursday where Lamarise very graciously shared her poke crop with me.

My neighbor, Ellie Cox, and grandson Tyler visited with me on Thursday.

Lofty and DaleLynn Carrier spent a couple of days in Mountain View last week celebrating their anniversary.

Novella Carlton, Sheryl Laughard and I attended a training class in Bentonville on Saturday morning.

Those having lunch with Mr. and Mrs. Lofty Carrier on Sunday were Mr. and Mrs. Brian Carrier, Mr. and Mrs. Ward Carrier and myself.

Keith and Ruth Chambers from Wooster, Ohio, spent a couple of days this week with Robert and Geneva Hamilton. They showed them some of the sights of the area. The two couples were friends when they were in the service in Germany.

On Wednesday Mr. andMrs. Robert Hamilton took Dean Fletcher to Grove, Okla., to attend the funeral of Mrs. Gerald Mason.

Keep a stash of wooden clip-type clothespins inthe kitchen drawer and use them to seal bags of chips, bread and dry cereal so they won’t get stale or soggy during humid weather.
