Pickup truck tools stolen in Decatur

— A pickup truck owned by Peterson Farms was stolen from Hatchery 5 on Arkansas Highway 102 in Decatur late Saturday night or early Sunday morning, according to Decatur Police Chief Terry Luker.

The truck was a 1994 Ford half-ton, painted with Peterson Farms logos and numbered 646.

On Monday, Luker saidthe truck had not yet been recovered, but there were several suspects in the case.

Stolen Tools

In a separate incident, tools valued at about $500 were stolen out of a pickup truck parked at the Decatur High School on April 6, according to Decatur Police.

Glen Holcomb, a bus driver for the Decatur School District, reported that he left his pickup truck parked at the bus yardaround 1 p.m. in order to drive the school bus to a soccer game, according to the police report.

Holcomb told police that he returned about midnight, and the nextmorning noticed the tools, including a socket set and tool bag, were missing.

The case is still under investigation, but there are currently no suspects, the police report states.
