GRAVETTE — Gravette’s Lady Lions traveled to Prairie Grove last Wednesday and, even though they out-hit the home team 9-3, the Lions couldn’t put it all together and came home on the short end of the 6-4 score.
Gravette led 2-0 at theend of three, putting runs across the plate in the first and third innings. But Prairie Grove came on with 6 in the fourth to ice the game as Gravette was able to score only a pair in the fifth.
Boys Results
In boys competition, the Lions hit the road to Prairie Grove last Thursday onlyto be held scoreless in the 10-0 loss. The Lions were to entertain Fairland, Okla., at Pop Allum Park Monday of this week.
The Lions next play against Gentry in the 1-4A Conference Tournament to be held in Ozark, at 6:30 p.m., on Thursday, with other game times and dates to be announced.
