— Sunday was a cool day, but the sunshine was nice. We could use some more rain.

Maysville E.H. Club members, remember this Thursday is club day at the community building. Berti Ray is hostess for the lunch at noon, then we will have a business meeting at 1 p.m.

Melinda Crawley stopped by and visited me a short time last Monday. I always enjoy her coming by to visit.

Orpha Wardlaw spent the week in Tulsa, Okla., in the home of Steve and Eva Rea (Wardlaw) Fincher andchildren Selena and Zack. I think she and Zack had some time to themselves while the rest of the family went somewhere.

Sylvia Tucker visited in the home of Johnnie Mae Marshall one afternoon last week. They had a good visit.

Work is coming along on the parsonage of the Maysville Bible Church. Painting is done and floors are to be done this week. They’re getting it ready for pastor Jim Whisenant and his wife Barbara to move into.

Shelly Bishop visited Jack and Sylvia Tucker on Saturday and gave her grandma Sylvia a permanent.
