GRAVETTE — Jacy Alsup of Gravette was awarded the Arkansas Angus Auxiliary Scholarship at the 2012 National Junior Angus Show awards ceremony held July 20 in Louisville, Ky.

Alsup, the daughter of Danny and Debbie Alsup, is a graduate of Gravette High School and is attending Oklahoma State University.

During the national meeting, Alsup was selected to serve as a member of the National Junior Angus Association Board of Directors. She was one of 12 persons chosen, includingmembers from Montana, Louisiana, Minnesota, Missouri, Kentucky, Tennessee, South Carolina, Illinois, Texas, Wisconsin and Kansas.
