OBITUARIES: Northwest Arkansas

— Fredrick Wayne Brotherton, 39, of Noel, Mo., died Aug. 12, 2012, at his home. He was born May 27, 1973,in Paragould, to Fredrick Raymond Brotherton and Shirley Leonberger Brotherton. He wasa construction worker.

He was preceded in death by his father. Survivors include his mother, Shirley Brotherton of Noel; two sisters, Vickie Adams and husband Dale Owens of Jay, Okla., and Pam Scrape of Bella Vista; and one brother, DewayneBrotherton of Broseley, Mo. No services are planned.

Mabel Douglas Mabel Irene Featherston Douglas, 93, of Bentonville, died Aug. 7, 2012, at HighlandsHealth Care in Bella Vista. She was born March 15,1919, in Benton County (Punkin Hollow), to Samuel Eldridge Featherston and Ollie Allison Featherston. She married Max Douglas on May 1, 1943. She attended elementary school and church at New Home in the Punkin Hollow Community. She graduated from Bentonville High School and from business college in Muskogee, Okla. She was a secretary for Carroll Electric Company. After WWII, she and Max farmed near Vaughn. She also worked at various jobs, including the Benton County assessor’s office, ASCS and the Farmers Exchange, and was involved in community life as a 4-H club leader, a member of the Homemakers Extension Club and the Benton County Historical Society. She worked as secretary for Meals on Wheels in Rogers. Sheattended New Home Community Church and First Christian Church of Bentonville. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and two brothers, Edwin and Glenn Featherston. She is survived by one son,Dan Douglas and wife Tara of Bentonville; two daughters,Judy Bell and husband Wayne of Cave Springs, Sue Dolezal and husband Bill of Ankeny, Iowa; one sister, Ellen Casey and husband Al of Gravette; one sister-in-law, Martha Lue Featherston; seven grandchildren; 11 greatgrandchildren.

Funeral services were Aug. 11 at Stockdale-Moody Funeralchapel, with Randy Featherstonoffciating. Burial was at Barron Cemetery. Arrangements were by Stockdale-Moody Funeral Services of Rogers.

Betty 'Geri' Johnson Betty Geraldine “Geri” Johnson, 81, of Gentry, died Aug. 7,2012, at Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale. She was born Dec. 30, 1930, in El Dorado Springs, Mo., to Carl Leeper and Mildred Leeper. She worked for the REA in Missouri and the Atomic Energy Commission in California. She married Dennie Johnson Jan. 1, 1953. She and her husband moved to Gentry in 1968 and were half owners of Gentry Automotive until 1976. She worked for Farmer’s Mutual Insurance, was the TOPS coordinator for Arkansas and was employed by the Gentry Public Schools for 10 years before retiring in 1998. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1982; her father; and her mother. Survivors include her one son, Dean Johnson and wife Linda of Gentry; two granddaughters; three great-grandchildren; and one great-great granddaughter.

Funeral services were August 11 at Wasson Memorial Chapel, Siloam Springs, with Lonnie Nelson officiating. Burial followed at Ed Dorado Springs (Mo.) City Cemetery. Arrangements were by Wasson Funeral Home, Siloam Springs.

Betty Lundy Betty J. Lundy, age 81, ofGravette, died Aug. 4, 2012, at Bradford House Nursing and Rehabilitation in Bentonville. She was born in Mills County, Iowa, on Feb. 22, 1931, to the late Grover and Goldie (Stogdill) Howard.

Survivors include her daughters, Sandra Lehnert and husband Gary of Yutan, Neb.,Lorraine Hastie and husband

Duane of Glenwood, Iowa, Karen Dorsey and husband William of Springdale, Wendy Nelson and husband Dave of

Bellevue, Neb.; 11 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Loren Lundy; daughter, Gail Herling; five siblings; and one grandchild. A gathering was held Aug.14 at Rollins Funeral Home in Rogers. Burial will be in Malvern, Iowa, at a later date. Cremation arrangements are by Rollins Funeral Home of Rogers.

Jerry Wilmoth Jerry Dean Wilmoth, 79, of Rogers, died Aug. 8, 2012, at her home. She was born Nov. 21, 1932,

in McCrory, to Herbert Nathan Massey and Bertha Helen Ward Massey. She grew up in Siloam Springs and attended school at Hendrix College in Conway. She moved from Conway to Tulsa, Okla., where she went to work for American Airlines. She married Ernest Junior “Jack” Wilmoth in 1952 and lived most of her life in Decatur. She was a long-time member of First Baptist Church, Decatur. She was preceded in death by her husband. Survivors include one son, Chuck Wilmoth and wife Deb of Rogers; one daughter, Carla Jackson and husband Roger of Rogers; four grandchildren; and one sister, Patsy Freeman of Siloam Springs. Funeral services were Aug. 12, at Wasson Memorial Chapel, Siloam Springs, with JohnTerry officiating. Burial followed at Decatur Cemetery.

Arrangements were by Wasson Funeral Home, SiloamSprings.

Sean Wilson, II Sean Christ Wilson, II, 19, of Gravette died Aug. 9, 2012, in Bentonville. He was born Oct. 9, 1992, in Columbus, Ohio, to Roger “Kodge” and Bonnie Bumstead Yandell. He graduated from Gravette High School. He was a member of the FFA, football team and the fishing club. He also enjoyed hunting. This summer he was working for Hollister and Simmons Pet Foods and was going to attend Tulsa Welding School. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Jerry Bumstead. He is survived by his parents, his brother Aaron Martin, and sister Taylor Martin, all of the home; maternal grandmother, Mary Bradley Bumstead of Gravette; paternal grandparents, Roger and Debbie Yandell of Stilwell, Okla., and Dea Tate of Missouri. Graveside services will be 11

a.m. Thursday at Friendship Cemetery in Springdale, with Lowell Bradley officiating. Viewing will be Wednesday

from 4 to 8 p.m. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the First Christian Church in Gravette. Arrangements are by Benton County Funeral Home in Rogers.

Corinne Yetter Corinne Elizabeth Clevenger Yetter, 70, of Colcord, Okla., died Aug. 11, 2012, at Siloam

Springs Regional Hospital, Siloam Springs.

She was born April 25, 1942, in Siloam Springs, to Roy Simpson and Lettie Bailey Simpson. She was a lifetime resident of Mosely, Okla., and Siloam Springs. She was former owner and operator of an H&R Block business.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Paul Clevenger, Jr., in 1985; her second husband, Bill Yetter in 2007; one brother and one sister.

Survivors include three daughters, Lettie Foy and husband Nathan of Memphis, Tenn., Carla Moose of Fort Smith, Annita Draper and husband Lonny of Siloam Springs; 10 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one brother, Walter Simpson of Diamond, Mo.; and one sister, Nancy Comer of Mountain View.

Funeral services were Aug.14 at Wasson Memorial Chapel, Siloam Springs, with Paul Young officiating. Burial followed in Oak Hill Cemetery, Siloam Springs. Arrangementswere by Wasson Funeral Home, Siloam Springs.

Sandra 'Sandy' Yost-Worrall

Sandra “Sandy” Lee Yost-Worrall, 58, of Bentonville, died Aug. 7, 2012, at her home.

She was born Sept. 28, 1953, in Columbus, Kan., to Bill and Maurine (Bruce) Yost. She grew up in Columbus and earned her associate’s degree in nursing from Labette Community College in Parsons, Kan.

Survivors include her parents; two sons, Bucky Worrall and wife Stacy of Gentry, Brock Worrall of Belle Vista; one daughter, Becki Brown and husband Josh of Bentonville;

one brother, Danny Yost of Cherokee County, Kan.; and two grandchildren.

Funeral services were Aug.

13 at Paul Thomas Funeral Home in Miami, Okla., with Tom Goettel officiating. Interment was at Fairview Cemetery in Melrose, Kan. Arrangements were by Paul Thomas Funeral Home of Miami.
